Overview
Christopher Newport University’s Pope Chapel is a prominent campus landmark designed to serve as a spiritual, ceremonial, and gathering space for the university community. The project included a traditional sanctuary, narthex, balcony seating, and support spaces, all integrated within CNU’s Collegiate Gothic architectural character. Carefully coordinated mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems supported occupant comfort, acoustics, and the chapel’s architectural vision.
