Overview
The Tidewater Community College Bayside Student Services Building Renovation was the first building in the Commonwealth of Virginia to be designed under the Virginia Energy Conservation and Environmental Standards (VEES), an alternative green building certification program. The project transformed the existing facility into a modern, centralized student services hub consolidating admissions, advising, financial aid, and other key resources. High-performance mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems were incorporated to advance energy efficiency, improve occupant comfort, and support long-term operational sustainability.
