Overview
The Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center Maritime Welding Training Lab was developed to support workforce development and address the region’s growing demand for skilled maritime and shipbuilding trades. The project created a purpose-built instructional welding facility equipped to provide hands-on training in a controlled, industrial learning environment. Specialized mechanical, electrical, and ventilation systems were integrated to support welding operations while maintaining safety, air quality, and energy efficiency.
